The Department of Food Science and Nutrition (FSN), which comprises the key pillars of Food Safety, Food Technology, Human Nutrition, and Chinese Medicine, is established to meet various new demands that arise as a result of the increased public awareness of food sustainability and safety.
To become a world-leading academic department which plays a role in advancing the Food Science and Nutrition industry, creating societal impacts by devising solution to important public health issues, training professional talents and spearheading innovative research in the related fields, and facilitating knowledge transfer for the well-being of mankind.
